Using CampusConnect
CampusConnect was designed to be easy to use and to allow students to get the information they need with just a few mouse clicks.
There are currently 10 unique functions that allow students to access different data. They are:
- Reg’r/Add/Drop Courses
- This feature allows students to enroll in and withdraw from their classes for upcoming semesters. It is available for use during the set registration times as described in the schedule of classes. Students are strongly encouraged to see an advisor before registering for classes.
- Class Schedule
- This feature lets students view and print their class schedules for current and upcoming semesters. It is generally available to all students at all times, unless the student has a particular hold.
- Grade Report
- This feature provides students a grade report for semesters as soon as grades are posted at the end of a semester. This way, students don’t have to wait for their grade mailing to see their grades. It is generally available to all students at all times, unless the student has a particular hold.
- Course Availability
- This feature emulates a “real-time” schedule of classes and closed class list. It lists courses by department, along with if it is closed or cancelled, and how many remaining seats are left.
- Unofficial Transcript
- This feature allows students to view and print an unofficial copy of their SOSU transcript. It is generally available to all students at all times, unless the student has a particular hold.
- Account Status
- This feature allows students to view and print a copy of their current bill. It is generally available to all students at all times, unless the student has a particular hold. Any questions about student’s bills or accounts should be directed to the Business Office.
- Degree Audit
- This feature is not available at this time.
- Demographic Info
- This feature provides students with the current demographic data as it is on file with the Registrar’s Office. Students are encouraged to check this data to ensure everything is up-to-date. To change any of the demographic information, please contact the Registrar’s Office.
- Financial Aid
- This feature allows students to view and print a summary of their financial aid awards per year. Be aware that this does not include expected or pending awards, but only those who have been completely processed by the Office of Student Financial Aid. This feature is generally available to all students at all times, unless the student has a particular hold.
- PIN Maintenance
- This feature allows student’s to modify their personal identification number to any 4 to 6 digit number they choose. Students should change their PIN the first time they access CampusConnect and periodically after that to help insure their information is kept private.
