Cheerleading
As a member of the Southeastern Oklahoma State University Cheer Squad, you would become associated with a tradition of excellence. The SE Cheer Squad is not your average cheer team. We are a combination dance and cheer squad. Therefore strong elements of both a dance team member and cheerleader must be displayed during tryouts.
Throughout the year, the SE Cheer Squad performs at football games, most basketball games, campus events, and often makes special appearances in the community. As a squad member, you will be expected to practice three days a week for a total of 10 – 12 hours per week, attend summer camp, and represent the University at special events.
Travel, uniforms, and a caring supportive atmosphere are all provided to squad members. We believe in working as a team and also in developing each and every team member as a good student, a leader and as a happy well adjusted person.
