Overview
The Southeastern Oklahoma Center for Regional Economic Development (CRED) serves as a resource to the business and industry community in southeastern Oklahoma. The CRED's focus is retaining businesses in the area by ensuring a trained workforce to meet the changing needs of business within the region. The CRED also works with rural communities to provide strategic and community based planning; provide training to community leaders and their constituents; and serves as a link from the communities to higher education.
Mission
Southeastern Center for Regional Economic Developmentās focus is providing an economically competitive region by designing and implementing innovative solutions for regional challenges. Priorities include working with businesses in the area to meet changing economic needs by providing community strategic planning, regional cluster workshops, youth mentoring programs, business workforce forums, and collaboration across networks.
