The Henry G. Bennett Memorial Library provides materials and services to meet the information needs of graduate and undergraduate students; face to face and online learners as well as faculty, staff, alumni, and community members.
If you’re waiting for your textbook to come in, the library has some of the print versions for undergraduate Gen. Ed. textbooks on reserve (digital versions or textbooks bundled with access codes are not available through program). These textbooks can be checked out in-person for a limit of two hours for in-library use only or, if you cannot get to campus, you can request a chapter be scanned by library staff. The scan will be sent to your Southeastern Email as a PDF. Please note copyright restrictions apply. To remain compliant to the copyright laws, a student may only request a single chapter per day from a title held within this collection. Any forms requesting more than one chapter per title will be rejected.
If you would like to make a scan request, please use the online textbook request form. The information you will need for a request will be your name, SE email address, course number (including department prefix), title of the book (be specific about edition), and chapter and/or page range.
Pro tip: You can use the Course Reserves search tab to see if the library has the required textbooks for your course before you submit a request!

The library’s collection includes over 191,468 volumes, 514,287 microforms, and 1773 current periodical subscriptions, as well as, selected newspapers, sound recordings, videos, and software. Additionally, as a selective U. S. Government depository, the library has holdings of, or links to, approximately 187,800 government documents and 12,000 Oklahoma documents in print, microfiche, maps/posters, and online.
Databases containing abstracts and full-text articles from magazines and journals aid patrons in accessing scholarly information from any computer. The Library has access through its digital database subscriptions to over 50,216 full-text periodicals and over 18,969 electronic books are accessible through the catalog.
