Educational Technology Fair re-scheduled for March 11

Press Release Date: 01-26-2010

DURANT, Okla. – Because of the threat of inclement weather on Thursday, the Educational Technology Fair has been re-scheduled for Thursday, March 11.

The event, sponsored by The Texoma Association for Public School Improvement (TAPSI), the Southeastern Center for Regional Economic Development and Southeastern Oklahoma State University, was originally scheduled to be held on Thursday, Jan. 28.

TAPSI is an association of school districts working with the School of Education and Behavioral Sciences at Southeastern. This consortium seeks to improve education at all levels and implement cooperative networking among its member districts. TAPSI member districts represent a 17-county area of southeastern Oklahoma and north Texas that includes 165 school districts.

The purpose of the Fair is to allow school district decision-makers to receive information about technological advances that can enhance student learning, administrative efficiency, and communication. Training opportunities for school personnel at all levels will be provided.
