“Super Saturday’’ at Southeastern

More than 600 middle school and high school students and their parents were on the campus of Southeastern Oklahoma State University today for “Super Saturday.’’
Students were competing for scholarships in such areas as Honors, President’s Leadership Class, and Music. Also taking place was Theatre Audition Day and Art Demo Day for students interested in those fields.
In addition, for the fifth year in a row, Southeastern hosted the Oklahoma Science Olympiad with students from Oklahoma and Louisiana competing.
Campus tours, financial aid and scholarship information was also provided.
In addition, an Academic Department Fair was held in the Glen D. Johnson Student Union. During this time, prospective students were able to visit with faculty members.
A large number of Southeastern students, faculty, and staff volunteered their time at the event.
