Thank you so much for your interest in Southeastern Oklahoma State University Cheerleading. Our program is an elite group of 19 men and women who are dedicated to increasing the overall spirit of the campus community. We perform at events, serve as University ambassadors, and are dedicated to improve skills throughout the year.

SE Cheer is hosting several opportunities for cheerleaders to interact with the current team members and coaching staff. Our Prep Clinics are open to high school – college aged cheerleaders and are geared toward those interested in trying out for the SE Cheerleading program in the future.
The selection for the team is a two-part process: video submission of skills followed by an invite-only live team section. The due date for everything to be submitted is Wednesday, April 9, 2025, to receive an invitation to the live portion. In-person evaluations are scheduled for Sunday, April 27. Instructions for video submissions and team selection will be emailed.
Cheerleaders will be judged on the following:
Jumps: Pike, Toe Touch, Double Toe Touch, Jump of your Choice
Stunt: Extended Liberty & Stunt of your Choice
Tumbling: Standing Pass & Running Pass
Game Day: Fight Song
Skills: Spirit, Dance & Chant
Interview Question
Fall: 4 practices and 2 workouts a week
Spring: 3 practices and 2 workouts a week
