Beginner IT Camp – AI & Machine Learning

Southeastern Oklahoma State University professor of computer science Dr. Ming-Shan Su has announced an IT Camp for beginners – aged 10 and older – on Wednesday, August 7, from 5:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. in room 104 of the Classroom Building on the Durant campus.
The camp will cover artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) and no prior experience or sign-up is needed. A USB drive with face-swapping software will be provided to the first 30 attendees.
Topics to be covered at the event include AI/ML – Why Bother?, Understanding AI and ML, how AI and ML work, a hands-on activity, ethical considerations and the future of AI, and a Q&A session to close.
