Honors Curriculum

The Honors Program curriculum is a four-year sequence of courses designed to build upon one another to give our students a rounded liberal arts education. Our courses layer together to broaden students’ perspectives and advance their critical thinking and communication skills. Our curriculum begins with students taking multiple Honors courses per term, which allows them to build camaraderie with their fellow Honors cohort members. Then, to accommodate our students’ increasingly busy schedules as they advance into their major coursework, our curriculum contracts to one course per term.

Transfer students coming from 2-year colleges that have completed their institution’s honors program requirements can expect to take 13 hours with SE Honors.

Courses marked with a # can be applied toward students’ General Education requirements.
