Honors Scholarships

Below are scholarships typically offered by the Honors Program. All amounts are per year and may be subject to change based on the availability of funds. All Honors Program scholarships are competitive and priority consideration is based upon applicant performance at Honors Day. Applicants should be aware that Honors Day is typically held in February.

PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY

  • Acceptance into Southeastern Oklahoma State University
  • 5 or higher unweighted high school GPA

OR

  • 25 or higher composite ACT (superscores accepted)

OR

  • 1200 or higher SAT (superscores accepted)

*All students must submit an ACT or SAT score, even if their eligibility is based on GPA.

Priority application deadline: January 31

Preference given to students of Native American, especially Choctaw, descent

University Honors Scholars
Requires ACT composite score of 28 or above on national test date. 
$5,000 per year

Presidential Honors Scholars
Oklahoma applicants only.
$3,000 Tuition Waiver per year

Out-of-State Scholars
Non-Oklahoma applicants only.
Full Out-of-State Tuition Waiver
$3,000 per year

Honors Transfer Scholarship

The SE Honors Program offers transfer scholarships to students who’ve maintained a 3.0 GPA while completing or participating in an honors program at their original institution. Honors Transfer Scholarship recipients will receive funding equivalent to the Presidential Honors Scholarship.
