The History program is designed to give students a deep dive into the human experience by studying historical texts, civilizations, and specific topics in history. History Students take 6 credit hours of elective upper-level United States History, 6 credit hours of elective upper-level European History, and 9 credit hours of electives in any category of upper-level history.
Alumni from Southeastern’s history program go on to some of the top graduate programs and Law Schools in the country, such as Temple University, University of Oklahoma, University of Tulsa, Durham University and the University of Amsterdam.
