Sometimes, there are complications that make it impossible for folks to live abroad for 4 months or a year when they’re in school, but Southeastern is committed to make international education a reality for everyone. Southeastern has organized a number of programs that took place over a week or two, helping to build broader awareness of the wider world while keeping things self-contained. Our Study Abroad Adventures have travelled to Ireland, England, Scotland, Greece, Belize, Guatemala, France, and Italy. We have so many more countries to visit before Bolt and his Herd have been to every country on the planet, but we’ll have to do them one (or two) at a time!
Below, you’ll find the latest in short-term programs, which usually run during spring breaks, to fascinating locations. These are perfect for folks interested in traveling abroad, but who have less experience taking in such a bold adventure. By design, Study Abroad Adventures include flights, guides, hotel reservations, meals, site visits, excursions and opportunities for intercultural exchange. Often, these programs are organized to take place during breaks in the regular academic schedule.
Study Abroad Adventures are open to current Southeastern students, Southeastern alumni, faculty, staff and friends of the university. If you’re interested in Study Abroad Adventures but not sure if they are open to you, check out the programs below and send a quick note through our Contact Us page.
